My Language Journey🇻🇳🇬🇧🇫🇷
Language is more than communication — it's the foundation of everything I do as a developer and as a person. From reading technical docs and collaborating with international teams, to making friends across cultures, every word learned opens a new door.
As a developer, English is my daily toolkit — writing clean code comments, reading documentation, joining open-source discussions, and working with colleagues from around the world. As an extrovert at heart, language has helped me connect with friends from over 50 countries — each conversation a unique window into a different world.
Beyond English, I'm also learning French (Français) — drawn to its elegance and its role as one of the world's most widely spoken languages. « Chaque langue que tu apprends est une nouvelle fenêtre sur le monde. » (Every language you learn is a new window to the world.)

Five ways I practice English in real life
Coffee Talk & Hangout
Casual English conversations over coffee. Real-world speaking practice in a relaxed, friendly setting — no pressure, just people connecting.
Coffee Talk is where English learning feels the most natural. Sitting with friends and colleagues over a warm cup, we talk about everyday topics — weekend plans, current events, shared experiences. There's no textbook, no grammar drills — just genuine conversation. Over time, I noticed my vocabulary grew, my confidence soared, and speaking English started to feel as easy as breathing.

Board Game
Mastering English rules, strategy, and teamwork through board games. Every game is a vocabulary lesson in disguise.
Board games forced me to read instructions, explain strategies, and negotiate — all in English. Whether it's arguing over a rule or cheering a teammate, every moment is an authentic language interaction. Games like Catan, Uno, and trivia nights pushed my reading, listening, and quick-response skills to another level.

Travel
Exploring new places forces real English communication — asking directions, ordering food, making friends from around the world.
Nothing tests your English like being in a new place where it's your only common language. Navigating airports, chatting with locals, ordering food, reading signs — travel made English a survival tool. Every trip added new expressions, accents, and cultural context that no classroom could ever replicate.

English Club
Structured English sessions with classmates — presentations, debates, and storytelling that push fluency to the next level.
English Club provided a safe, structured space to practice more formally. We gave short presentations, debated current topics, told stories, and played language games — always in English. Having a supportive audience of peers who are on the same journey makes all the difference. This is where I built the foundation of structured speaking.

Karaoke
Singing in English is one of the best ways to improve pronunciation, rhythm, and confidence. Every song is a lesson.
Karaoke is my secret weapon for pronunciation. When you sing a song repeatedly, your mouth learns the rhythm and sounds of English naturally. It's impossible to feel embarrassed about mistakes when everyone is having fun. From pop ballads to rock anthems — every performance improves my intonation, mouth muscle memory, and confidence to speak out loud.
